Too cute

Today was Caitlyn's first soccer game. She missed last week's game because she was invited to go to Disneyland with her grandma - just the two of them... driving to California and enjoying two days of Disney-bliss together. What great memories for her. We felt that it was too great of an opportunity for her to turn down, and in effect she missed her first official soccer game. Anyway, I digress. Back to the soccer game....

She did such a great job. She ran up and down that field giving it her all. She was so good that she scored a goal!.... for the other team unfortunately, but that doesnt really matter right? She was goallie for bit and she loved it! Being goallie is sort of being the hero of the team - and she enjoyed getting the ball when it came her way.

She's already got the goalie dance down, look at her shake it! And scoring a goal is scoring a goal! No matter whose side it was on, way to go Caitlyn!

Cute! I love the goalie picture. I think soccer is a great way to introduce kids to sports. Maybe because I wish I would have done it when I was little. But all I did was t-ball and I sucked.

Chad, your kids are adorable. Thanks for commenting on our blogs about Ryan's mission call. I thought of you when he opened it last night. You didn't mention the name of the restaurant that has authentic eastern european food...Ryan is interested!
He is not too fond of yogurt (even sweet, fruity kind) so this should be an adventure.

So, Justin is in Soccer too and it is hilarious! I don't know why they make 4 year olds "learn" how to play. All he does is chase the other kids around and could care less about the ball. It took a bribe of icecream to get him to pay attention! But I do love to watch!
